Quantil Champions Sustainability at BBC Gardeners’ World Live by Supporting The Messy Allotmenteer
30th June 2025
Birmingham, June 2025 — Quantil has made a meaningful splash at BBC Gardeners’ World Live, aligning itself with environmental stewardship and community creativity through its support for The Messy Allotmenteer’s showcase garden, The Nectary.
Held at the NEC from 12–15 June, BBC Gardeners’ World Live drew over 90,000 visitors, becoming a hub for green innovation, sustainable gardening, and meaningful collaboration.
Through its charitable initiative, Quantil contributed to bringing The Messy Allotmenteer’s vision to life. The garden, designed by Kate Patrick, celebrated the intersection of nature, artisan craftsmanship, and local food heritage. Named The Nectary, it showcased heritage vegetables, stained glass art, and sustainable design—all crafted to support pollinators and nurture community connections.
Quantil’s support helped fund key garden features that not only looked beautiful but also carried a strong environmental message. The company’s involvement demonstrated that corporate social responsibility can thrive alongside creativity and horticultural passion.
The Nectary wasn’t just visually striking — it carried real impact. At the show, it earned a Silver Merit in the Showcase Gardens category, an acknowledgement of its thoughtful design and sustainable ethos.
Visitors at the event could wander through a space that blended delicate artisan touches with edible planting, all while thinking about biodiversity and local production. The garden intentionally highlighted pollinator-friendly plants and heritage crops, underlining Quantil’s commitment to ecological resilience.
Quantil’s charitable team expressed pride in working alongside The Messy Allotmenteer, calling the project a powerful demonstration of how business and gardening can combine for community benefit. Meanwhile, The Messy Allotmenteer herself spoke of gratitude at what the support meant—not only for the garden at the show, but for the broader message of sustainable food growing.
